Designing and developing a website for a local business to aide with their online presence and image. This includes a dashboard to allow the business owner to upload and manage the products that are being displayed on the website.

Designing and developing a portfolio website for an artist, along with a dashboard to allow the artist to upload and manage the artwork that is displayed on the website.
Anilist Discord Bot
Developed an Anilist Discord bot which leverages Anilist's public facing GraphQL API to allow users to query and compare their favourite anime and manga statistics with other users within any discord server. The bot also allows users to create collages of their top rated media's cover arts using Go's image processing libraries.
Mock Flight Booking Web App
Lead the development of a mock flight booking service website where users can search, book and pay for flights. GitHub repository is private for academic integrity reasons.

Hi, I'm Jacob Roe! I'm a software developer with a strong passion for backend systems, networking, and scalable web applications. Currently, I'm pursuing a Bachelor of Computing (Honours) in Software Design at Queen's University, where I've deepened my understanding of computer networks, database management, and software architecture.
Learning new technologies is something I truly enjoy—whether it's experimenting with networking protocols, diving into emerging frameworks, or optimizing backend logic. I'm constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and grow my skillset.
Outside of coding, I enjoy reading science fiction novels and manga, playing video games, honing my aim in darts, and developing Fortnite experiences using UEFN.
